  • 7-8 curry leaves
  • 2-3 green chilies
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • A pinch of Asafoetida

Easy Steps to make Aloo ki Sabzi

  1. Grab a pressure cooker and pour a cup of water into it. Add potatoes in it and give it pressure for 10 minutes or more. To reduce the pressure, turn off the heat.
  2. Take a nonstick pan and heat oil in it First add mustard seeds until they crack and then add cumin seeds until their color is changed.
  3. Add turmeric powder, curry leaves, green chilies, and asafetida. Fry the mixture for a few minutes.
  4. Fry onions till it gets soft.
  5. Sprinkle little water to prevent it from getting burnt and cover from the top.
  6. Peel and chop the cooked potatoes then add salt or coriander to the mixture.
  7. Add more water and mix. Cover from the top and cook for 6-8 minutes.
  8. Switch the heat off. Sprinkle the remaining coriander leaves after adding lemon juice to your mixture.
