INGREDIENTS

For dough

  • 3 cup wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp melted ghee
  • Salt to taste

For Stuffing

  • 3 cups boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 2 tbsp melted ghee
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped green chilies
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 3 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • 2 tbsp dried mango powder

Method of making Dough

  1. Mix the ghee, wheat flour in a bowl. Add salt to it and combine them well.
  2. Make a dough by adding the required quantity of water.

Method For making potato stuffing

  1. Heat up 2 tbsp of ghee in a frying pan. Add cumin seeds and onion and fry them for at least 3 minutes. Then add green chilies and finally the mashed potatoes.
  2. Add the dry masala including salt, chili powder, and mango powder.
  3. Fry them well and saute for a few minutes. Stir continuously.
  4. Now, make strips of the dough with the help of a rolling pin. After that take each strip one by one and fill it with your potato mixture. Then take another strip to cover it. Make sure both of them stick together quite well.
  5. Put a tawa on heat and fry it. Repeat the process with the rest of the dough and make enough paratha to feed your family.

Serve with curd and salad.
