Amogio Sauce Recipe

The Italian Amogio Sauce is a really delicious sauce and is used to add amazing flavors to your dishes while cooking. All the ingredients added to the sauce are perfect to be used as seasonings. Amogio Sauce is my favorite of all and I am used to having it with every snack I have at any time of the day even with my midnight snacks.

Fish or pasta also involve this sauce for drizzling and marinating. In Italian cuisine, this sauce is considered a traditional sauce and is highly demanded and appreciated.

INGREDIENTS

  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1 tablespoon minced shallot
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh Lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 tablespoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Method to make The delicious Amogio Sauce

  1. Take a non-stick saucepan of medium size and pour some oil into this saucepan. Once the oil is heated at medium heat, add the butter to this oil.
  2. Stir both the oil and butter together and then pour some lemon juice into this mixture.
  3. Then add the minced garlic into this mixture. After adding the garlic you must add the shallots into it at the same time. Stir fry both of them in the cooking mixture.
  4. The next step is all about sprinkling the basil and parsley all over your saucepan. Stir and in the end, you must add the crushed red peppers to your mixture.
  5. Boil the mixture at high heat and then let simmer to get the required thick consistency of your sauce. The simmering period is just 5 minutes.
  6. Then to season up your sauce, you must use essential seasonings like salt and pepper.
  7. When settled for a few minutes after turning off the heat, serve your sauce by drizzling it on your pasta or with other dishes.
