Banana Bread Recipe without Baking Soda

  • 2 bananas, mashed
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

How to make banana bread

Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a 9×5 inch loaf pan with cooking spray or oil and set aside.

Combine bananas, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl. Add eggs, oil, and vanilla extract.

Now, start adding flour and mix until well incorporated. Be careful and don’t over mix it.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes.

Remove from oven and cover the pan with foil. Place the pan in the oven again and bake for another 15-18 minutes or until the wooden toothpick comes out clean.
