Banana pudding is an easy-to-prepare and delicious dessert. This pudding is perfect to offer everyone in family even kids love this dessert.

This pudding is made with a soft cream and enriched with banana puree flavored with orange juice. I recommend that you keep it in the refrigerator in an airtight container for a maximum of one day.

Before serving, you can enrich it with dry biscuits. Here is the step-by-step preparation!

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 ml of milk
  • 40 grams of flour
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
  • juice of an orange
  • cookies to decorate

How to prepare banana pudding

To prepare the banana pudding, start by whipping the egg yolks with the sugar in order to obtain a light and fluffy mixture. Add the sifted flour and hot milk, always stirring regularly.

Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and cook in a bain-marie. Keep stirring in order to avoid the formation of lumps then turn off the heat.

Aside, blend the bananas, add the orange juice to the puree and add the mixture to the previously prepared cream. Mix well then distribute the mixture in molds or single- portion cups for the pudding.

Leave the pudding cups to rest for a couple of hours in the refrigerator then decorate with banana slices and biscuits before serving your chilled banana dessert.
