The stir fry sauce in which the beef and broccoli are cooked is so delicious as all the amazing saucy ingredients are added to make it. It is first blended and then simmered to make it a thick one. Making this sauce is the best part of this recipe as it is so satisfying.

  • 1 lb broccoli, fresh
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon corn starch
  • 3 tablespoon packed light brown
  • 1/4 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 2 tablespoon grated garlic
  • 6 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger

Method to make Beef and Broccoli Recipe

  1. In a bowl, combine the ingredients to make the stir fry sauce. For this purpose, pour the olive oil and add sugar into it. Mix the cornstarch into it.
  2. Blend well and sprinkle with the black pepper. Pour water into it and drop in the soy sauce. Cook the sauce in a frying pan for some time until it is thickened.
  3. Take a large-sized skillet, and pour some oil into it. Bring the broccoli and stir fry it in this heated oil. Continue frying the broccoli florets for a few minutes.
  4. You need to make the broccoli a little crispy by frying it in olive oil. In this fried broccoli, add the beef and cook.
  5. Simmer for some time. In the cooked beef and broccoli add the thickened stir fry sauce and cook. Add a little water into it to keep the moisture locked in it. Sprinkle sesame seeds over it.
  6. Boil the rice or prepare them with your own favorite recipe of rice and then serve the broccoli and beef over this plain rice.

The sauce is stir-fried first and then added to the beef and broccoli mixture. You can skip this step and add the sauce directly to the beef and then let it simmer.
