Betty Crocker Oatmeal Cookie Mix Recipe

A natural and light biscuit that has all the nutritional principles of the cereal with it, for a breakfast rich in carbohydrates and proteins. Without adding any additional ingredients, we have made cookies with oatmeal that fear no competition. Try to enjoy this cookie in the morning as soon as you wake up.

Ingredients

2/3 cup granulated sugar

2/3 cup packed brown sugar

½ cup butter or margarine, softened

½ cup shortening

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

2 eggs

3 cups quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats

1 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour

1 cup raisins, chopped nuts or semisweet chocolate chips, if desired

How to make oatmeal cookies

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large mixing bowl, beat all ingredients except flour, oats and raisins with an electric mixer on a medium heat. You can mix them with spoon as well. Then add oats, flour and raisins.

On a cookie sheet, drop cookie dough with round tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.

In the preheated oven, bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until light brown. After removing from oven, place the cookies on cooling rake.

Enjoy! Your oatmeal cookies are ready.

Tips

You can make cookie bars with the dough. Press the dough in an ungreased 13×9 inch pan then bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Let it cool in cooling rack then cut into 6 rows by 6 rows for 36 cookie bars.
