BJ Parmesan Crusted Chicken Recipe

Chicken Parmesan is a crusted chicken with a thick coating of flour and eggs followed by cream cheese and bread crumbs. These crusted chicken breast pieces when drizzled with the melted butter sauce cooked in sugar, tastes phenomenal. This Parmesan Chicken is an American dish that has now acquired huge fame in the world of cuisines.

You have to separately perform each step of cutting the chicken, making the butter sauce, and garnishing. Little efforts are required and your crusted chicken will be ready to serve. You can serve it with whatever sausage you like or simply with the butter sauce that you have prepared.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 5 chicken breasts
  • 4 beaten eggs, medium-sized
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Japanese-style bread crumbs
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

For butter Sauce

  • 1/4 cup salted butter
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3/4 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp dash salt
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • A little quantity of olive oil

For Garnish

  • 2 tablespoon shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 4 teaspoon minced, dried tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp sliced fresh basil

How to make Parmesan Crusted Chicken

  1. To prepare brine for your chicken, first of all, mix salt in the chicken broth, putting both of them in a medium-sized bowl.
  2. Add the flattened chicken breasts to the chicken broth and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
  3. In the meantime, get the chicken breast pieces out of the brine and pat them with towels or tissues to remove excess liquid.
  4. In another bowl beat the eggs.
  5. In a flat bowl pour some flour.
  6. Combine the bread crumbs with the Parmesan cheese. Also, mix in salt and pepper.
  7. Now to prepare the chicken, first coat each fillet with the flour then with the beaten eggs, and in the end with the prepared Parmesan mixture.
  8. Let the fillets stand for some time until you prepare the butter sauce.
  9. Melt the butter on medium heat in a small saucepan. Add vinegar or wine and let it simmer. Add in sugar, salt, lemon juice, and then the heavy cream. Whisk well. Cook for 8-10 minutes on low heat.
  10. In the last step, fill the bottom of a saucepan with olive oil and heat it. Once the oil starts to sizzle, you can fry your breaded chicken fillet in it. Drop the fillets one by one and fry each side until well cooked.
  11. Put the chicken fillets in the serving dish and then dress each of them with the butter sauce. Also sprinkle some Parmesan cheese, minced tomatoes, and basil at the top of your aligned breaded chicken fillets.
