BlackBerry Pie Recipe Paula Deen

Blackberry pie is filled with blackberry stuffing. The stuffing may be present in the form of blackberry jam or just a batter made out of it. The blackberries are then baked. The recipe needs more sugar than the regular pie recipes.

Your pie will not remain intact if there is too much liquid in the filling. You can use cornstarch or flour to thicken the stuffing before filling in the strips. The crust of your pie should be amazing. You can top the pie with whatever material like a cheery, blackberry slice, etc, and make it beautiful before serving.
