- 2 cups gram flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 tbsp baking soda
- 10 crushed cashew nuts
- 20 Raisins
- 15 green cardamoms
- A few strands of saffron
- Few tbsp of milk
- 1/2 kg ghee
How to make amazing Boondi Ladoo in Sanjeev Kapoor Style
- To start with, powder the mentioned quantity of cardamoms.
- In a pan, pour a cup of water and add sugar in it. Heat the mixture until this sugar melts in water.
- Once the mixture is cooked your sugar syrup is ready for use.
- In the next step add saffron and cardamom powder to this sugar syrup.
- To proceed with the process, add the baking soda and gram flour to this mixture.
- Take a deep frying pan and heat half of the kilogram of ghee in this pan.
- Put the gram flour in boondi and then fry this boondi straight in the hot ghee.
- Keep it aside.
- Then fry the cashew nuts along with raisins in the ghee.
- Mix the fried boondi, cashew nuts, and raisins to the cooked sugar syrup.
- Use your hand palms to make small ladoo like balls from this boondi mixture. Apply oil on your palms before making ladoo.
