  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon milk
  • 50-gram butter softened
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

Steps to make amazing Bordeaux Cookies

  1. On a small-sized deep plate or bowl and add the softened butter into it. Combine the brown sugar with this softened butter.
  2. Use your electric beater or a hand whisk to blend this mixture until fluffy and the sugar is all dissolved.
  3. Pour the milk into the fluffy mixture. Then combine the baking powder with the rest of the mixture. Beat well using the hand whisk. Sprinkle the salt.
  4. In the end, combine the all-purpose flour with the rest of the mixture. Stir it with the rest.
  5. Put the dough in the refrigerator while covered.
  6. Then start preheating the oven and the suitable temperature for it must be 180 degrees.
  7. After about two hours, use the cookie cutter to shape the dough into cookies.
  8. Spread all the cookies on the baking sheet which is already lined with parchment paper.
  9. Put the dish in the oven and the cookies need the baking for 8-10 minutes.
  10. Take out and let stand to get hardened and settled.
