  • 1 lb shrimp, (veins and shells are removed)
  • 10 oz sausages
  • 1 lb chicken breast, boneless and skinless
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 20 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 red onion, diced
  • 1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1/2 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup white long-grain rice
  • 1 cup chicken broth

For Cajun seasoning

  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon paprika powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes

For serving

  • 1 lemon wedge
  • 1 tablespoon green onion, sliced

Instructions to make Bubba Gump Jambalaya

  1. Bring yourself a large bowl and after adding the sausage to it, add shrimp and chicken breast pieces.
  2. Season the bowl mixture by adding the Cajun seasoning and mixing well.
  3. Set the mixture aside and let it settle.
  4. In a pan heat some oil at medium heat and in this heated oil, fry the chopped onion, bell pepper along with the garlic and celery.
  5. Once you briefly fried the veggies, through in the red pepper flakes. Sprinkle the black pepper and paprika and also squeeze the hot pepper sauce.
  6. Add some Worcestershire sauce and saute the mixture.
  7. Add in the chicken and shrimp mixture and saute the whole material together.
  8. After pouring the chicken broth, throw the crushed tomatoes in the mixture and stir well to combine.
  9. Cook for half an hour and wait until the rice is completely cooked on the stovetop.
  10. Serve hot, after garnishing with the lemon wedges and the green onion which were thinly sliced.
