California Pizza Kitchen offers the world’s best Grilled Chicken as the chicken is so soft, juicy, and delicious to eat. But in their recent menu, they have added the Chimichurri grilled chicken. Chimichurri is a Mexican marinade to coat your snacks and amplify their amazing taste.

The sauce is made by blending a number of seasonings and this sauce will ultimately make your chicken the most delicious dish on Earth. Not many people are aware of this heavenly sauce, that is why I have brought this recipe for you guys to test and amuse yourself. Once you like the taste then serve it to the rest.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pounds of chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup packed fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup fresh oregano leaves
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 4 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 packed fresh Parsley
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes

Method to make delicious Grilled Chicken Chimichurri

  1. Blender is required to blend all your necessary seasoning together so that you will attain a little chunky seasoning mixture to flavor your chicken thighs.
  2. In the blender which has a sharp blade, add olive oil, and lemon juice and squeeze some vinegar. Then add parsley and cilantro along with the oregano.
  3. Sprinkle salt and pepper and also add garlic and red pepper flakes. Blend all of them at high speed.
  4. Your Chimichurri marinade is ready. Reserve the blend aside.
  5. In a container, put your chicken thighs and pour the blend which you call the Chimichurri marinade into your chicken.
  6. Toss the chicken well in the seasoning.
  7. Once you have heated the grill place the chicken over the heated grill and cook for 5-8 minutes. You will see that the skin is browned and crispy.
  8. Flip the chicken thigh and grill from the other side.
  9. Your chicken is ready. Transfer the leftover chimichurri sauce to the serving platter and serve with the grilled chicken as an aside.

Can we freeze the Chimichurri sauce?

No, you cannot freeze it for a long time but for a few days.  As this sauce is not hard to make again and again so it is better to use the fresh sauce for marination and to serve as an aside.
