Camp Bells Chicken Tortilla Soup Recipe

  • 1 can (900 ml) chicken broth (Camp Bells organic)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1/3 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1 1/2 cup frozen corn niblets
  • 1/4 cup chopped red pepper and green pepper
  • 1/2 cup pace Chunky medium salsa
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • Crispy tortilla strips
  • Cooking spray

Instructions to make Chicken Tortilla Soup

  1. Take a large skillet and spray it with the cooking spray.
  2. Heat the skillet or saucepan for a few minutes and then add chicken to it. Wait until the chicken is cooked and browned completely.
  3. Shred the chicken once cooled and add back to the pan.
  4. Then add pour in the rice. Also, add cumin at the same time. Then pour in the chicken broth.
  5. After pouring in the broth let the mixture simmer for half an hour at least.
  6. After letting the mixture sizzle for a long time, it’s time to spice up the soup. For this purpose add in the Pace Chunky Medium Salsa.
  7. Also, add in corn and pepper. Stir the whole mixture properly to the bottom.
  8. Throw in cilantro and then squeeze the lime juice in it. Keep the heat moderated throughout the process.
