Captain D’s Coleslaw Recipe

Coleslaw is a very fine side dish that basically contains cabbage as the main ingredient which is shredded and mixed with a smooth dressing and some other vegetables. Do not confuse the Coleslaw with salads as both are different things but look almost similar. The crunchy onion added to it gives a good aroma and crispy to your coleslaw.

For your own customization, you can add some chips or a crispy tortilla at the top to make your coleslaw crispy and to feel the crunch in every bite of it. What else do you need if you are getting a healthy as well as a yummy dish at the same time so that both your health and your craving will be satisfied at the same time? I think it’s the perfect one for a person like me who is extremely foody and always hungry.

FAQs?

What to add in the coleslaw to make it an exception?

You can add minced chilies, chili flakes, lemon zest, or lime juice for a good spark in your coleslaw. You can also add fruits like cherries, diced apples, blueberries, etc.

Why my coleslaw gets watery?

The addition of salt draws water from the vegetables and the dressing. That is why you should add salt to the mixture at the very end of the process.
