Cheddar’s Fish Taco Recipe

  • 400g Fish fillets
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 red pepper diced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper chopped
  • 12 small taco shells or tortillas
  • 2 cups chopped lettuce
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cabbage flower chopped
  • shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Tomatoes

How to make Cheddar’s Fish Taco?

  1. For marinating the fish pieces, in a bowl mix the butter and chili powder and also add black pepper into it.
  2. Grease your fish fillets with this spicy butter. You can also add a small amount of hot sauce to heat it up.
  3. Add the flour, cream, lemon juice, and the rest of the ingredients in the batter and mix well.
  4. Gently dip the fish into this better and coat it. After coating the fish pieces deeply fry them on the flame and then cook them a bit in the oven. Repeat the process for all the fillets.
  5. Now when the fish is done, we have to assemble tacos.
  6. Lay your warm tortilla strips and starts the process of filling. Spread the sauce, followed by all the veggies including onion rings, lettuce leaves, cabbage, and tomatoes. Cilantro is also added.
  7. Throw the shredded cheese at the bottom before filling and at the top.
  8. Also, put in the fish strips and top with the cream or your customized sauce or salsa.
  9. Melt the cheese by heating in the oven and SERVE!
