INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium-sized onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • 2 large garlic cloves, minced
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • Freshly grounded black pepper
  • 2 large sized eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 lbs grounded beef
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoon stone ground mustard
  • 1 cup dried bread crumbs

Method to make The amazing Chew Meatloaf

  1. Stir fry the onion and garlic together in a large-sized saucepan. Fry them in olive oil s it has a better flavor.
  2. Season up this onion mixture with salt and pepper. Add the thyme at the same time. After frying for a few more minutes, put the mixture into a plate and let sit.
  3. Then in a bowl add this fried mixture and add more seasonings like pepper and salt. Beat eggs and add to the mixture. Pour some Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Now in the end pour the beef broth into the mixture and then add bread crumbs into it.
  5. Mix well either by using your spatula which is a wooden one or a plastic one.
  6. Bring the prepared baking dish and then transfer the prepared mixture to this baking dish so that your beef mixture will adopt a shape of a loaf.
  7. Then take another bowl and combine the mustard with the sugar. Pour ketchup into it.
  8. Mix well and drizzle the sauce over the meatloaf. Save some of the sauce for later.
  9. Put it back in the oven and bake for one hour at least. Bring it out, drizzle more sauce over it and bake for a few more minutes.
  10. Once baking is done, let it air cool for a few minutes and drop the remaining sauce over it before serving.
