Method to make Chicken and Waffles

To prepare the chicken

  1. In a shallow dish mix the diced chicken with buttermilk, tarragon, thyme, and cayenne pepper. Keep them like this for a long time until everything is well combined.
  2. It is good to refrigerate it overnight. The next morning, take it out.
  3. In another shallow bowl, mix flour with the garlic powder. Add salt along with pepper and onion powder.
  4. In a large pan, heat some oil. Coat the chicken tender first in the flour mixture and then in the buttermilk mixture. Shake it to drop the excess and then again coat a third layer of the flour mixture.
  5. Smoothly, put the chicken tenders one by one in the heated oil and fry them for 5-8 minutes.
  6. Fry from both sides by flipping and then drain the excess of the oil in tissue paper or paper towels.
