Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe

Chicken Cordon Bleu is my go-to snack loaded with Swiss cheese and chicken bites make it more delicious. My mother used to make it for us on weekends and it’s a ritual in my family now to make these every few days.

The crunchy cornflakes layer is the bonus point of this recipe. I love the crunch in every bite. You need to be careful while wrapping as you should do it tightly. The melted cheese drizzling out after the first bite has my heart.

  • 8 thin slices of Ham (optional)
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cups corn flakes cereal, crushed
  • 8 oz Swiss Cheese sliced or crushed

  • 1-2 tablespoons of yellow mustard

Method to make the amazing Chicken Cordon Bleu

  1. Bring the chicken clean it and wash it. Then use paper towels to dry out your chicken. Bring a knife and slice the chicken. Then flatten the chicken by beating it.
  2. You must do it after wrapping the chicken in plastic wrap.
  3. Now arrange the chicken pieces in the dish and then put the ham slices over each chicken piece.
  4. Bring the cheese and shower over your meat. Roll up your slices and then use another plastic wrap for covering them.
  5. Give it a shape of an exact chicken roll. Arrange all the chicken rolls which are plastic covered in the refrigerator to allow them to settle. Continue the refrigeration for half an hour.
  6. The oven is getting preheated at 400 degrees. Bring the chicken out of the refrigerator. Put them in the dish and sprinkle salt which is followed by black pepper.
  7. Now it’s the time to treat the cornflakes. You need a food processor for this recipe. You must put all these cornflakes in this food processor.
