Chicken pakora is a crunchy plus delicious appetizer to have with your tea. You can have it in your brunch or at a Sunday dinner. It is the easiest method to cook chicken and your child will be happy with this minimum effort as it is fabulous. INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tbsp garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tbsp chaat masala
  • 4-5 curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chili paste
  • 1 tbsp refined flour (maida)
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to deep fry
  • Green chutney to serve

How to make a perfect Chicken pakora

  1. In a large pan, put the chopped chicken cubes. In the same bowl, add the ginger garlic paste followed by lemon juice.
  2. In the next step add the chili powder and chaat masala. Also, add the curry leaves and Kashmiri red chili paste.
  3. Shower refined flour and garam masala.
  4. Mix all the spices well in the cubed chicken.
  5. Bring a Kadai and heat sufficient oil in it. Make sure that the oil is enough for frying the chicken pakora.
  6. Deep fry the marinated chicken cubes until the chicken is golden browned.
  7. Get the chicken out of the oil and put it on the absorbent or tissue paper.
  8. Drain the excess oil.
  9. Your chicken pakora is ready. Serve this chicken pakora with green chutney.

What is the reason if my chicken pakora is not crispy?

You can coat the chicken cubes with bread crumbs to make them more crispy and crunchy. But make sure that your oil is hot enough to fry the chicken. It should not be overheated because in this case the chicken will soak the oil and will not be properly cooked.

Can we freeze chicken pakora?

Yes, cook them and cover them to store in the refrigerator after air cooling. You can reheat in the oil when required.
