Quick and easy recipe, the chicken salad is ideal for an appetizing lunch even when it’s hot: a single dish, or a complete second course, ready in a quarter of an hour. This preparation consists of roasted or boiled chicken, crispy celery and lettuce and a delicate mayonnaise that wraps the ingredients without weighing them down.
Ingredients
- 400 g Sam’s Club Chicken (boiled or roasted)
- 100 g of white celery
- lettuce
- pitted black olives
- mayonnaise
- salt
- black pepper
How to prepare chicken salad
To make the chicken salad, start by chopping the meat with a knife: the pieces and the pieces obtained do not necessarily have to be all the same size. Wash and dry the celery, remove any filaments and then cut it into small pieces.
Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Collect the chicken and the chopped celery in a large salad bowl.
Cut the lettuce into strips and add it to the chicken with celery. Prepare the mayonnaise with a single egg, and keeping it rather liquid. Spread it over the salad.
Add the black olives, capers if you like and mix well and season with salt and freshly ground pepper. Serve your chicken salad right away.
