Bob Evans Cranberry Relish Recipe

The cranberry relish recipe (also called cranberry chutney) is very simple. If you have never tried it, know that it is traditionally used as an accompaniment to meats and cheeses. If not, for a quick gift idea, just prepare it and offer it to friends and relatives in a beautiful decorated jar.

Cranberry sauce is a perfect side dish for any occasion, but especially for the holidays. It adds an unexpected and delicious flavor to your main dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of cranberries
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 500 g of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of curry powder
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • salt to taste

How to prepare cranberry relish

The steps are few and simple: to obtain your sauce, cook the cranberries in hot butter for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Slowly add the other ingredients, and cook over low heat for another 10 minutes.

The times could be slightly different if you use frozen ones: in any case, continue to cook until the blueberries are soft.

As soon as your mixture is ready, pour it immediately into sterilized jars, which you will then close immediately. Leave the jars upside down for 10 minutes, after which you can turn them over again and let them cool.
