Easy Desserts with Few Ingredients

The lemon brownies are delicious treats, quick and easy to prepare, perfect for breakfast or snack. They are a lemon revisited version of the classic chocolate brownies, the typical American sweets.

My version is very light and delicate and is designed for lovers of desserts with lemon. Preparing these brownies is very simple and we can take them with us as a hunger-breaker snack or to a picnic with friends. Let’s see now how to prepare them together!

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 130 g of butter
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 120 g of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • Juice and zest of one lemon

How to make lemon brownies

To prepare the lemon brownies, we first start working the butter with an electric mixer in a bowl.

We combine the sugar and continue to mix well with whips. We combine the lemon zest and, with the help of a juicer, squeeze the lemon juice. We add the juice to the dough and continue to mix.

We also combine the baking powder and a pinch of salt. We continue to mix with the electric blender and begin to combine the flour, a little at a time, continuing to mix.

At this point, we combine one egg at a time and mix until it is completely absorbed before adding the next.

We pour the mixture into a square pan lined with parchment paper. With these doses, I used a 24×24 cm pan. Bake the brownies at 170 ° for 20-25 minutes in a ventilated oven; or in a static oven at 180 ° for 20-25 minutes. Once out of the oven, let it cool completely, cut into squares and sprinkle with plenty of icing sugar.
