Easy Chocolate Dessert Recipes with Few Ingredients

The pastry filled with chocolate is a very simple recipe, which you can also prepare together with your children or in case of guests at the last minute. A roll of puff pastry and a bar of chocolate are enough… And that’s it!

To fill it I used dark chocolate, but you can range, using the chocolate of your choice, mixing different chocolates, using this recipe to consume leftovers of various chocolates or Easter eggs, or even adding a little cream cheese for an even more creamy and delicious filling!

Ingredients

  • 1 roll of puff pastry
  • 1 bar and a half of dark chocolate
  •  milk
  •  caster sugar

How to make chocolate pastry

Open the puff pastry roll and place the chocolate bars in the center.

Fold the upper and lower flaps over the chocolate bar, and then make cuts, perpendicular to the chocolate, on the open pastry.

Then begin to weave the strips of pastry over the chocolate.

Continue like this, bringing the strips of the dough towards the center in an alternating manner (first one side, then the other, as you can see from the images), until all the dough is closed.

Brush the surface with a little milk, then sprinkle with sugar and/or sugar grains.

Then bake the chocolate pastry at 200 ° C in a preheated ventilated oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Just let it cool and serve.
