Easy Rice Dishes with Few Ingredients

This rice dish is the answer to how good a recipe that is simple and quick to prepare. This white rice requires few ingredients and is affordable for everyone, but above all it is really delicious!

  • 360 g of rice
  • 50 g of white onions
  • 100 g of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 60 g of butter
  • 1 l of meat broth
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

How to make parmesan rice

Pour in the meat broth in a saucepan and bring it to a boil and keep it very lightly simmer. Peel the white onions, cut them into very thin slices and chop them finely.

Put a pan or pot where you will cook the rice on a low heat and add the extra virgin olive oil and half the butter. Melt the butter, and then add the chopped onion. Let it sizzle slightly, the onion should be cooked slowly and gently. It must remain white.

After 3-4 minutes add the rice. Toast it for two minutes, turning it often. Pour some hot broth over the rice and continue cooking adding liquid when needed and turning the rice from time to time. Cook rice for about 16-18 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

When the rice is cooked, remove from heat. Stir in the remaining butter and grated Parmesan, stirring very well. Format the portions and immediately serve. Enjoy your meal!
