Eggless Chocolate Walnut Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup and 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions to make an eggless Chocolate Walnut Cake

  1. Set your oven to be preheated at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Grease the baking dish with oil.
  3. In a bowl add white vinegar and then pour in the milk. Let the milk mixture stand for 10-15 minutes and you’ll see that your milk is curdled.
  4. Combine sugar and oil in a container. Blend with a hand blender until the sugar is melted completely.
  5. Then combine the sugar mixture with the milk one.
  6. Drop in the vanilla essence. Mix well.
  7. Now grab a large bowl, and after putting sieve add all-purpose flour in it. Throw in the walnuts in the flour.
  8. Now mix all the prepared mixtures. Mix well until you get a uniform batter.
  9. Now pour this cake batter into the baking dish and top with the chopped walnuts.
  10. Bake the cake for 30-40 minutes. Check by inserting a toothpick at the center of the cake is properly cooked or not.

FAQs?

Why my cake does not get fluffy?

If your cake does not rise then it means that your batter was moister than the capacity of flour added to the mixture. Also, make sure that the baking powder you are using is not too old.

How to prevent my cake from burning?

Do not overly preheat heat the oven. Cook the bake for the exact time that is mentioned and thus do not overcook it. Also, lubricate the baking dish properly.
