Fish fingers are a yummy appetizer coated with amazing spices. These fish fingers are very easy to prepare but you should stick to some basic rules and follow the exact instructions to come out with good results. When the fish fillets are cut into strips and are marinated with the batter use tongs to handle them instead of your hands for a smooth procedure.
You can use any kind of boneless fish for this recipe, which will be battered and breaded. - 300 grams fish fillets
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1/2 cup coarse rice powder
- Oil to deep fry
- Potato wafers as required

- Bring the fish fillets and cut each of them into three inches so that each finger will be half an inch.
- To prepare the batter for marination, mix salt, lemon juice, garlic paste, and ginger paste in a small container and coat the fish with this paste.
- For preparing another marinade, mix the coarse rice flour with salt, red chili powder and spread it on a plate.
- Take the sliced fish fillets or fingers one by one out of the first marinade and coat it with the second mixture which is a dry one.
- In a deep skillet which is non-stick, heat oil and then drops each finger one by one in it. Deep fry them until they get beautifully browned and crispy.
- Get them out of the oil and drain the excess oil on the absorbent paper.
- Serve and enjoy with potato wafers as well as tomato ketchup.
