Easy Fish Tofu Soup Recipe Mini Food

Easy Fish Tofu Soup is a classic soup packed with amazing nutrients and is a completely healthy diet for sure. You can make this soup every two or three days a week to follow a healthy diet plan.

This Fish Tofu soup recipe is not so complicated and you just have to do a few careful steps. Making the fish and the soup in the sesame oil makes it more luscious.

INGREDIENTS

For the Fish

  • 1/4 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/8 tablespoon white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1/4 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 8 oz tilapia or catfish fillets

For the soup

  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 6 dried red chilies
  • 1-2 thinly sliced ginger
  • 1/2 pound firm tofu
  • 1 cup soybean sprouts
  • 6 fresh shiitake mushrooms
  • Freshly chopped scallion
  • 1 cup napa cabbage
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • Freshly chopped cilantro
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil

Method to make Fish Tofu Soup

  1. Bring the cleaned fish and then you must marinate it using all your marinating ingredients.
  2. Now take a bowl for preparing the marination. In this bowl, you must add the soy sauce with sesame oil and then add cornstarch into it.
  3. Now toss the fish well in these ingredients and let it soak and absorb all of it for some time like for half an hour.
  4. Pour the oil into a pot and stir-fry the mushrooms in it along with the ginger. Fry it well until obtained the color and softness.
  5. In the fried mushrooms, you must add the dry chilies and bean sprouts at the same time. Stir again using your wooden spatula.
  6. Bring the chicken stock and pour it into the potting mixture. Pour some water into it. When it is simmering, add the napa cabbage. Add the tofu into it after pouring the sesame oil into it.
  7. Sprinkle salt all over it.
  8. Bring the marinated fish and put it in the soup one by one. Keep the heat high and let the fish simmer in this prepared soup.
  9. Put the scallions at the top, spread some cilantro and your Fish Tofu soup is ready to serve.
