- 1 1/2 cups milk, warmed
- 4 eggs
- 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
How to make French toast
Place your slices of bread on a baking sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees F, turning the slices halfway.
In a bowl, combine the milk, eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, butter, salt and vanilla.
Transfer the mixture to a rectangular dish.
Soak the bread in the mixture for about 20 seconds per side, and then place your slices on the baking sheet.
Reduce oven temperature to 200 degrees F and bake to keep bread warm.
In a skillet, melt the butter.
Brown the buns for about 3 minutes on each side.
Serve with powdered sugar or maple syrup.
