  • 2 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 1/2 cup monk fruit sweetener
  • 7 oz unsweetened almond milk
  • 6 large yolk eggs

Method to Make the Haagen Daz Coffee Ice Cream

Take a mixing bowl and add the egg yolks into this bowl. Whisk the eggs and put them aside.

Add heavy cream into a nonstick saucepan and also pour almond milk into it. Sprinkle some salt into it and also add a little quantity of coffee to it.

Keep the heat low and simmer for 20 minutes. Continue to stir while simmering.

Now pour the cooked hot cream mixture into the beaten egg yolks and whisk side by side. Make sure no lumps are formed in the egg yolks.

Pour this whole mixture back into the hot cooking pot. Continue to cook and you will see a brown crust will start forming at the bottom. Once the crust is formed remove it from the heat.

Once the cooked mixture is cooled in air, put it in the refrigerator and let it cool at the required temperature. You will see the custard will attain an ice cream-like consistency when frozen.

Use the ice cream maker and you have to check the churning portion of it is working right. Set the machine according to your required consistency and then pour the custard into it.

Now that your ice cream is made, add it to a container and then instantly put it into the freezer. Freeze for 2-3 hours.
