Ingredients
- 1/2 cup 2% milk
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon gelatin
- 1/4 cup water
- Ice cubes
- 1/2 cup Kosher salt
- 2 gallon-size ziplock bags
How to make Halo Top ice cream
- Warm the ½ cup milk and ¼ cup water in a saucepan on low heat.
- Beat the egg and pour it into the milk. Stir the mixture with a spatula until it is fully combined.
- Add the gelatin, mix well and remove the saucepan from heat.
- Let the mixture cools down then add protein powder.
- When the milk mixture cools down completely, pour it into a plastic bag.
- Add ice cubes and salt to another ziplock bag. Place the milk bag into the ice bag and seal.
- Now, you have to shake the bag for 8 to 10 minutes until the milk mixture becomes hard in the form of ice cream.
- Transfer the ice cream to serving cups. Top the ice cream with raspberries or strawberries. Enjoy!
