Honey Walnut Chicken Recipe

Honey Walnut Chicken is a recipe in which the chicken is simmered in a thick honey sauce and it gets instantly delicious. The honey makes the chicken sweet but it gets spicy because of the other seasonings and therefore gets a combo of sweet and spicy.

Serving Walnut Chicken as the main course dish in your formal dinner makes the dinner table look fancier. As the Walnuts sprinkled over your chicken are good enough to give it a pleasant flavor.

Making the Honey Sauce

In a bowl, the honey is drizzled and then this honey is stirred with the soy sauce. Pour some of the sesame oil into this mixture. Making this Honey sauce is such a soothing step in this recipe. Stir well and at the end add the apple cider vinegar into it.

Then the mixture is poured into a cooking pan for simmering. After enough simmering the sauce gets thickened and then you can pour it over your chicken.

Crushing the Walnuts

Walnuts are chopped first and then added to a food processor to crush them. These are crushed properly and then sprinkled over the cooking chicken. The chicken gets chunks of crispiness because of the fried walnuts.

Serving the chicken

The chicken is used for topping the plain rice and then served at the dining table. Moreover, it is served as a main course with tortillas as tortillas are the best thing to complement your meals.

Make sure to top your chicken with green onions so that the platter will look more beautiful and appetizing. The pop of green color because of the green onions is so worth it.

It is usually served at dinners and at lunches but I  only prefer to serve it at dinner to exaggerate the beauty of the formal or informal dining table.
