To prepare tiger prawns, buy raw tiger prawns, clean them properly and brush them with melted butter and desired spices. Broil the shrimp until fully cooked.
Buy raw tiger prawns
Shrimp are sometimes sold cooked, but this recipe calls for raw shrimp. Attempting to cook already-cooked shrimp results in rubbery shrimp.
Some stores may call large shrimp “shrimp”; they taste much the same, however, so don’t worry too much about any confusion. For this recipe that serves six, buy about 1 1/2 pounds of tiger shrimp.
Clean the shrimp properly
Some stores sell shrimp that are already cleaned. The head must be cut off, the legs removed, the shell removed and the large vein removed from the back.
In almost all cases, the tail should be cut off just before cooking. Rinse the shrimp and put them back. Here we should know whether shrimp is bad or not.
Butterfly shrimp
Use a sharp knife to cut the shrimp flesh from the bottom. Cut about half of the cream, but do not cut the cream in half. Open the pencil like a butterfly. This process allows the meat to cook evenly and quickly. Place the prepared shrimp in a pan.
Wash the shrimp with melted butter
Melt a cup of butter and add a teaspoon of minced garlic and half a teaspoon of lemon juice. Pour 1/4 cup of this butter mixture into a bowl and set the rest aside. Using a soft brush, coat the shrimp in the flavored butter in the small bowl.
Sprinkle the shrimp with parmesan cheese
Measure out 3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese. Break this evenly over the prawns.
Cool the shrimp
Place the chicken pan in a preheated oven on the top rack. The shrimp will cook for about 4 to 5 minutes. Don’t hold on too long.
Serve with the remaining flavored butter
Toss shrimp in the remaining 3/4 cup garlic and lemon-flavored butter.
