  • 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 large-sized egg
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • No-Stick Cooking Spray

How to make a waffle sandwich

Heat 4-inch square waffle iron. Prepare the waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray to make waffles.

In a bowl, add pancake mix, water, egg, oil, and whisk together until there are no lumps in the batter.

Pour 1 cup batter over the hot waffle iron evenly and cook until the waffle is golden brown. Repeat the process to make 16 waffles.

In a large skillet, cook sausage patties for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until thoroughly cooked. When the internal temperature of the patty reaches 165F, transfer to a plate lined with a paper towel.

Cook eggs one at a time in the same skillet until the egg whites are completely set and yolks are almost set, then break the yolk and flip the egg to cook on the other side and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Place a waffle on a plate, put a sausage patty and egg on it and top with another waffle to make a sandwich. Cut the sandwich diagonally and repeat this step to make 8 sandwiches.

Serve the sandwiches with Hungry Jack Original Syrup as a dipping sauce and enjoy the breakfast.
