  • 2 Yellow pumpkins medium size
  • ½ 2 cup sugars
  • Half cup oil
  • 2 cup Khoya
  • 1 tablespoon Green cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoon Raisins
  • 2 tablespoon crushed almonds
  • Pistachios

Method to prepare delicious Kaddu ka Halwa

  1. Take a nonstick pan. Add oil to it.
  2. Chop the pumpkins into smaller cubes with the help of the cutting slide.
  3. After the oil is heated, immediately add finely cut pumpkins and sugar.
  4. Cook until the sugar melts and all the moisture is gone. Also, make sure that the pumpkins get soft.
  5. Add khoya and cook for 15 minutes. Whisk your mixture well and don’t overcook. Your mixture should be neither too thick nor too slimy.
  6. Then add raisins, green cardamom powder, and pistachios. Lower the flame.
  7. Serve in a bowl and garnish crushed almonds on the top.
