Longhorn Stuffed Mushroom Recipe

Longhorn Stuffed Mushrooms are made in the kitchen and involve a number of steps including cleaning mushrooms, making stuffing, stuffing the mushrooms, and then topping these mushrooms.

Longhorn Stuffed Mushrooms are super easier to make as you can keep the filling and the topping for a few days in the refrigerator.

Bring these mixtures, and then use them in your recipe to treat the mushrooms. The mushrooms are my favorite meal to have in the form of an appetizer.

Making the Stuffing

The stuffing is made with the cheese and the cream and mayo mixture as these are simmered on the stovetop. This stuffing is thicker and when the Panko breadcrumbs are added to it to make it is yummy and thicker.

Stuffing the Mushrooms

The mushrooms are first emptied from the inside as all these stems are removed from them. Bring the cheese and Panko mixture and stuff it into the cavity of the mushrooms.

Do not overstuff the mushrooms as the cheese will melt after baking and will drop out of the mushrooms. So add a limited quantity of the stuffing.

Topping the mushrooms

The mushrooms are then topped with a thick white sauce or you can call it a cheese sauce and then drizzle over the filled mushrooms. The cheese layer is also called the dressing of your mushrooms and it makes a blanket-like layer on the mushrooms.

Serving the Mushrooms

The coated mushrooms are then served with sides like tortillas or with rice. You should serve it on the platter with a few more sides and it will taste yummier than ever when you serve it at dinner.
