Marinara sauce is prepared in no time. Add extra virgin olive oil in a large and non-stick pan. Let it just heat up. Meanwhile, chop the garlic cloves and onion.
Add onion and garlic to pan. When the onion and garlic are golden. Add the tomato puree and add the spices. Cook for about 15 minutes over medium – low heat, stirring often.
When the marinara sauce is set, season with salt, pepper or chilli. You can use this sauce to flavor pizza, pasta, or anything else of your choice.
