Mike’s Farm Mac and Cheese Recipe

An easy homemade Mac and Cheese recipe for you and your family! This is an irresistibly creamy, smooth and cheesy recipe. Once you have tasted this recipe, you will say “Goodbye” to powdered cheese versions of macaroni and cheese and say “hello” to this real cheese version.

In this recipe, two different varieties of cheeses, cheddar and mozzarella, will be used. The quality of cheeses matters, so try to buy high-quality, sharp cheese for this recipe. You can use any variety of macaroni you like in this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup Macaroni
  • 1 cup Duke’s mayo
  • 2 cups Cheddar, sharp
  •  2 cup Mozzarella
  •  1 cup Sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to make Mac and Cheese

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cook the macaroni for 6 minutes in boiling water or according to package instructions. Do not forget to add a pinch of salt to boiling water. Then drain the macaroni and set aside.
  3. Mix together mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, mayo, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in macaroni with cheese mixture and pour it into a baking dish. Bake the mac and cheese mixture for 30 minutes until cheese is melted.
  5. Remove the dish from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
