In this recipe, two different varieties of cheeses, cheddar and mozzarella, will be used. The quality of cheeses matters, so try to buy high-quality, sharp cheese for this recipe. You can use any variety of macaroni you like in this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup Macaroni
- 1 cup Duke’s mayo
- 2 cups Cheddar, sharp
- 2 cup Mozzarella
- 1 cup Sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
How to make Mac and Cheese
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cook the macaroni for 6 minutes in boiling water or according to package instructions. Do not forget to add a pinch of salt to boiling water. Then drain the macaroni and set aside.
- Mix together mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, mayo, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in macaroni with cheese mixture and pour it into a baking dish. Bake the mac and cheese mixture for 30 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Remove the dish from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
