  • 1 1/2cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 6 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon grounded cinnamon

For Topping

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 1/2 tablespoon granulated sugar

Method to make Delicious Cream Cheese Pie

  1. In a small-sized bowl mix the graham cracker crumbs with the sugar and cinnamon. Pour the melted butter into it and then transfer the mixture to the baking pan.
  2. Put the pan in the oven which is preheated at 350 degrees and bake your dish for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Let this cooked crust stand for some time.
  4. To prepare the filling for the cream pie, use an electric beater to make the filling. Beat the cream cheese and then to add sweetness to the dessert add sugar into it.
  5. Pour Vanilla and then mix again. Keep the speed of the beater low. Break eggs and blend into the mixture. You need a completely creamy and saucy filling.
  6. As your crust is cooled enough and completely settled, fill the crust with the prepared filling. Put it back in the oven and bake for half an hour.
  7. Before topping your baked pie, cool it on the cooling rack.
  8. Then you have to prepare the sour cream topping for your cream cheese pie. Blend the sour cream with sugar in the bowl and make a smooth paste.
  9. Make a layer of this paste on your pie and bake for a few more minutes.
  10. Once baking is done, let cool.
  11. Slice the pie before serving!

FAQs?

What happens if we over-beat the cream cheese?

If you overbeat the cream cheese it will get too much runny and will not settle in the crust. So beat until you gain a runny texture and then use it.

Can we refrigerate the cream cheese icing?

Cream cheese icing is hardened in the refrigerator so that you cannot refrigerate your pie for too long.  Also if you have very soft and runny icing, refrigeration will settle it down.
