Chicken is a lean and low-fat meat par excellence (with about 240 kcal per 100 g), much loved by children and also quite versatile.
A classic roasted chicken breast, for example, can become a second rich in flavor if seasoned with a marinade with aromatic herbs and accompanied by a salad or seasonal vegetables.
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 4oo g chicken breast
- 1 lime
- to taste chives fresh
- to taste thyme fresh
- to taste marjoram fresh
- to taste olive oil extra virgin
How to prepare roasted chicken breasts
Prepare a marinade with the chopped lime juice, thyme and marjoram (use a ceramic knife). Take the chicken breasts and place them in a shallow container, then pour the marinade over them and let them rest for half an hour.
Heat your griddle on the stove and place the chicken breast slices on top, drained from the marinade. Cook on both sides, brushing with the marinade from time to time. When cooked, turn off the stove, remove the plate from the heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
Dress with a drizzle of olive oil and chives, accompanying with seasonal vegetables, raw or cooked, or with a salad. Serve with mayonnaise and enjoy!
