How to make Mexican taco sauce
Add water to a saucepan with all the ingredients, except lime juice.
Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat and cook for 10 minutes. Simmer and stir the sauce occasionally.
Remove from heat and pour the lime juice. Mix well and let the sauce cool completely.
Transfer the sauce to an airtight container/jar and store it in the refrigerator.
