Miss Dot’s Pound Cake made up of eggs, sour cream, and vanilla is a super yummy cake and is extremely easiest to make. Making the pound cake has become my hobby now as I like to have it in my refrigerator all the time.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 4 medium-sized eggs
  • 1/2 (120ml) cup sour cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Method to make the Miss Dots Pound Cake

Take a baking pan and grease it with butter. Then sprinkle the dry flour all over the butter. The oven should also be preheated at this point.

Take a glass bowl of medium size and then add flour to this bowl. Sprinkle some salt into this flour and also make the addition of the baking powder.

Then you need to blend the butter using the stand mixer. Bring the sugar and add it to the blender.

 

Bring the eggs and add them one by one into the blender. Pour the sour cream into the blender and also pour vanilla into it.

In this egg and cream mix, combine the flour mixture and stir them well.

Pour the whole batter into the baking pan and then put it in the already-preheated oven. Bake for more than half an hour and then take out.

Let it cool for 5-10 minutes. Make slices of the cake and then serve on your tea platter.
