  • 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 lb Gemelli or other short pasta
  • 1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoon grated garlic
  • 1/2  tablespoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Method to make a Pot of Pasta with Ricotta and Lemon

  1. In the boiling salted water, boil your pasta. You can taste it to know whether the pasta is enough cooked or not.
  2. Drain the water and put the cooked pasta aside.
  3. In the drained pasta, spread the ricotta cheese and then add the lemon zest into it.
  4. Pour the lemon juice into it and then add the grated Parmesan cheese. Make addition of grated garlic and then sprinkle the red pepper flakes in it.
