Panna cotta is the ideal spoon dessert for every season thanks to the infinite variety of accompanying sauces: caramel, melted chocolate, or fresh seasonal fruit!

Making the Panna Cotta

For making the Panna cotta cream is added to milk and sugar and rum are also added to it. All these ingredients are simmered to gather and when the mixture gets thickened after cooling, the gelatin is added to it and is then stirred. Then you should refrigerate the mixture until you prepare the toppings for the dessert.

Simmering the Pomegranate Juice

The Pomegranate juice is simmered in a frying pan and sugar is also dissolved into it while simmering. The juice gets thickened while simmering and gets the shape of syrup with a bright pretty color. Drizzle it over the Panna Cotta and then refrigerate it again.

Slice the cherries and put them over the Panna cotta dessert. Moreover, bring the chocolate chunks or chocolate shaving and spread them all over the dessert to make it look pretty and yummy. You can use toppings of your choice and then you can serve them without hesitation at any time.

How to make Panna Cotta

  1. Take a medium-sized cooking pot and then pour milk into this pot. Once the milk is heated a little, then you should pour cream into this pot.

  3. Once the mixture is boiled, you must make the addition of sugar to it. Stir the sugar well so that it will be properly dissolved into the boiled milk and cream mixture.
  4. Add a splash of rum if you like to or you can conveniently skip this step.
  5. Turn off the heat and put the pan aside and let it air cool for some time.
  6. Bring the Gelatin and add it to the cooked milk and cream mixture. When settled properly and given a proper settling time, the mixture attains a thick texture.
  7. After there gets a smooth layer at the top of the mixture, you must bring the special shot glasses. Make sure these are washed and dried. Transfer the cooked and thickened mixture into these glasses.
  8. Instead of shot glasses, you can also use simple bigger glasses. Put the filled glasses in the oven and then continue refrigerating them for an hour at least.
  9. Bring a frying pan and put it on the stovetop. In this frying pan, you must pore the Pomegranate juice and start simmering it. Also, add sugar into it and stir this sugar so that it will get dissolved into the simmering juice.
  10. Lower the heat and when the juice is thickened after proper simmering, turn the heat off and put the pan mixture aside. It will get cooled in a few minutes.
