Mrs. Fields Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe

Peanut butter is a food paste or spread that is used in making different desserts. It is made of roasted peanuts that are grounded later and the texture is beautified by adding other ingredients.

It is used as a bread spread or for toppings. Peanut butter is used as an alternative to butter and is considered much healthier than ordinary butter because it provides you with more proteins in comparison to regular butter.

Peanut butter cookies are a favorite snack to have with tea or while roaming here and there around the kitchen when you can’t find anything to eat in your fridge. I can’t believe that you have not tried this recipe before.

The procedure of Making Peanut Butter cookie

  1. As you already know you first have to turn on the oven and preheat it at 350 degrees F.
  2. Now for making your batter or dough, in a medium bowl mix flour and baking soda, and salt. Mix these dry ingredients properly with each other. Use a hand mixer for the purpose and do it slowly so that the powder doesn’t blow out.
  3. In another blending bowl, mix the sugars and blend. Add a cup of butter in it and mix again to form a paste.
  4. Mix this paste with the powdered flour mixture and blend. Make sure no patches and small balls are formed in this thick mixture.

  7. Roll your dough into small biscuits sized cookies. Grease the baking pans and put parchment paper over them. Greasing is necessary so that your cookie will not stick to the pan.
  8. But before baking use a fork to make criss-cross patterns at the top of cookies and also sprinkle some chocolate chips at the top.
  9. Fill the baking dishes with the dough cookies one by one and then bake it for at least 15-20 minutes or until it gains a golden-brown crust.

FAQs?

Does flattening the cookie is necessary?

If the cookies are not flattened with the fork patterns they will not be baked evenly and spread out. Due to this flattening, they rise in a perfect shape of a biscuit.
