It can be a lighter food when alone served with some dips while could be the main course when combined with certain other dishes. INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups water
- 2/3 cups soy sauce3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon Oolong tea leaves
- 2 1/2 lbs sea bass fillets
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 lb fresh Spinach
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh garlic
- 1 (15-ounce)can of sweet corn
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
The process to make P.F. Chang’s Sea Bass
- In a large-sized saucepan, combine the water with ginger, garlic, tea leaves, and brown sugar. Cook the mixture on high heat until it is boiled.
- Simmer for some time, let it cool, and then discard off the ginger, garlic, and tea leaves from it.
- Take a storage bag and keep your sea bass fillets In it with the cooked marinade poured in it.
- Add 2 cups in the bag and store the remaining. Soak the fish in this marinade for 7 hours minimum. Keep it in it the fridge during this duration.
- The fish should be completely dipped in the marinade so that it will absorb all the flavors.
- Once marination is done, bring the baking pan and put the fillets one by one on the baking sheet.
- Bake until the edges turned brown. The baking period should be 20-25 minutes.
- Broil fish in the oven but prevent it from burning. In the meantime, reheat the stored sauce.
- In a pan, heat some oil and fry the spinach along with garlic in it. Also add salt, pepper, and sweet corn. Fry the spinach well.
- Put the spinach in the serving dish and then put each fillet on the serving plate. Also, put baby corn at a side I each serving plate.
- Pour the leftover sauce over each fillet in the end and Serve!
