  • 4 Onions
  • 90 g Butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 750 ml Chicken broth
  • Salt to taste

How to make potato soup

Start preparing the soup by peeling the potatoes and chopping them coarsely, then move on to the onions and slice them carefully.

In a large pot, heat the butter over medium heat, add the onions and fry them until they become transparent. It will take about 5 minutes.

Add the potatoes and garlic and sauté for another 5 minutes, then pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil, cooking for 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

Reduce everything to a puree, heat the soup for 2-3 minutes, season with salt and pepper, divide it into four bowls and serve it on a very hot table, accompanying your choice with croutons or slices of bread.
