Pumpkin Pie without Evaporated Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
  • 2 cups canned pumpkin
  •  2 cups milk
  • 2 ½ cups white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ½ teaspoon salt

How to make pumpkin pie

Preheat oven to 475 degrees F. Put the pastry crust in a pie dish.

Combine pumpkin, milk, flour, sugar, salt, eggs, and spices in a large mixing bowl. Mix all the ingredients well with an electric mixer until smooth.

Pour the mixture into the pie shell and bake for 10 minutes.

Then reduce the temperature of the oven to 350 degrees F and bake for another 30 minutes.

Serve immediately or let it cool and decorate with whipping cream. Enjoy!
