Ratatouille Recipe Gordon Ramsay

Gordon Ramsay is a highlight of French cuisine which is considered as a vegetable stew. The addition of certain vegetables and simmering of them in the tomato and other spices gives all the flavors to your dish that you want. Also, ratatouille does not contain a lot of calories and thus is health-friendly. Any person’s diet can enjoy it as it does not contain oil and fats.

You can also pair this dish with boiled rice, mashed potatoes, and toasted bread. There are several different methods of preparing ratatouille but this Gordon Ramsay is my tried and tested and also my favorite as the outcomes are quite classy and amazing.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 small Courgette
  • 1/2 Aubergine
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 Shallots
  • 1 Red Pepper
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • Fresh Thyme leaves
  • Parsley chopped
  • Olive oil for frying
  • 5 ounces Passata
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Hot paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions to make amazing Ratatouille

  1. Bring a saucepan and heat olive oil in it. Then in this heated olive oil pan fry the shallots for a few minutes.
  2. To add a good flavor to your shallots sprinkle them with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the aubergine to your pan and also add the garlic clove in it. Saute the mixture for a few minutes.
  4. In the same pan, add the courgette and let it simmer for 2-4 minutes in the pan. To make another addition to the mixture, add passata along with paprika and cumin. Stir the mixture properly.
  5. Cook for 10-12 minutes until the ingredients merge and the mixture gets soft after cooking.
  6. Then arrange all the cooked mixture in a baking dish and then brush the beaten egg whites at the top of the whole mixture. Bake the dish for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle the thyme and parsley at the top of this dish. Serve after sprinkling. You can season it again to taste before serving.
