  • 4 cardamoms, crushed
  • 1/4 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 Onions, peeled and sliced
  • 6 garlic cloves, peeled and sliced
  • 1-inch fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 1/2 tbsp ground coriander powder
  • 1/2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 2 large tomatoes, ashed and pureed
  • 1 tbsp garam masala

How to make delicious Chicken Kosha in Indian Style

  1. Brown the chicken in a large saucepan. Then set it aside.
  2. Fry the cardamoms, cumin, and cinnamon all in the same saucepan until they release their flavors.
  3. Also add onions, ginger, and garlic.
  4. Fry all of them together for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Then throw in the turmeric and chili. Also, add coriander. Give a good stir to the whole mixture.
  6. In the very next step, add the tomato puree and boil the sauce. Let it sizzle.
  7. In this cooked sauce add the already browned chicken.
  8. Now cover the pan with the lid and cook for a long time even more than half an hour.
  9. You can also add some water to prevent it from burning.
  10. In the end, sprinkle this chicken with garam masala. Ans season with salt and pepper to taste.
